Robotic Workspace for School Laboratorioes and Classes

This Robotic Workspace is supposed to help with educationg of Secondary School and University students. It offers a range of tutorial exercices and assignments from a wide range of industrial automation.

For this purpose the Workspase is equiped with the UR5 robot developed by Universal Robots, two belt conveyors, industrial camera, serie of sensors, objects for manipulation, frequency converter and PLC Siemens S7-1200 control system with touch screen. This workspace is thus ideal for complex training of exercices from the field of industrial automation and robotics - strongly demanded in case of the Industry 4.0.

The Robot is certified for cooperation with human with no need for further safety elements. 

The workspace is made out of modules - it can be further equipped or arbitrarily configured. Its transfer is easy using hand forklift or wheels mounted on its frame. Entire device can be easily dismantled into smaller modules for long distance transfers.

Currently used at The Secondary School of Civil and Mechanical Engineering in Tabor.
